The LPGA Tour was played this week in match-play at the Bank of Hope LPGA Match-Play presented by MGM Rewards. After a tight final against Ayaka Furue (JAP), it is finally the Thai player Pajaree Anannarukarn who takes the final victory, with a score of 3&1. The two players engaged in a merciless duel but it was finally Anannarukarn who escaped on the last holes of the match.

This is the first victory on the LPGA Tour for this 23-year-old Thai player who was previously ranked 97th player in the world. The young player from Thailand created a surprise as she won the final against a player from the top 20 in the world.

Perrine Delacour's adventure ended in the round of 5 against the Irish Leona Maguire. Delacour lost 3&XNUMX to Maguire who went on to the semi-finals.

Céline Boutier was eliminated at the next stage, in the quarter-finals, against the future finalist Ayaka Furue. The French number 1 lost 2&1, despite having led a good part of the match.
