Pajaree Anannarukarn wins Bank of Hope LPGA Match-Play
After three group matches, then four knockout rounds, it was finally Pajaree Anannarukarn (THA) who won the Bank of Hope LPGA Match-Play presented by MGM Rewards. This is the first victory on the LPGA Tour for this 23-year-old Thai player who was previously ranked 97th player in the world. The young player from Thailand created a surprise as she won the final against a player from the top 20 in the world.
Perrine Delacour's adventure ended in the round of 5 against the Irish Leona Maguire. Delacour lost 3&XNUMX to Maguire who went on to the semi-finals.
Céline Boutier was eliminated at the next stage, in the quarter-finals, against the future finalist Ayaka Furue. The French number 1 lost 2&1, despite having led a good part of the match.
