The inspiration to imagine this very great grip came, in fact, from the observation of a tree frog capable of developing real power in terms of grip on all types of terrain. Result: the birth of the FROGS technology (for FootJoy Revolutionary Outsole Grip System - frog, in French) for the outer soles where all the traction elements increase all the contact points at ground level during the swing whatever the weather and field conditions.

The FROGS technology incorporates a translucent and extremely flexible SoftMaxTM outsole which offers both a softer feeling and extreme grip with the addition of a new FTFTM 3.0 midsole, the softest and most comfortable of the brand. The Softspikes Tour LockTM system and translucent Pulsar crampons provide great grip and dynamic flex inspired by the frog.
