On the legendary Pebble Beach course, three men are in the lead and will be associated in the last part for the moving day: Scottie Scheffler, Thomas Detry and Ludvig Åberg. At -11, the three players are one stroke ahead of Patrick Cantlay at the start of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-AM weekend. Matthieu Pavon is once again in the mix in this big PGA Tour event. With a total of -9 and a nice reaction at the end of his second round, the French are 5th, two shots from the lead.

This is the big test at the start of the season, the best players in the world are there to compete in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. After two rounds, we find world number 1 Scottie Scheffler at the top of the leaderboard who scores 64 (-8) this Friday. The American is co-leader with Thomas Detry and Ludvig Åberg. The three men will be in the last game for the moving day, it will be the reunion between the young Swede and the world number 1, the latest game to date, the defeat in the Ryder Cup in Rome suffered by Scottie Scheffler in doubles.

Matthieu Pavon continues his path to the top of the PGA Tour rankings. Winner last week of the Farmers Insurance Open, Pavon is once again on the first page of the leaderboard at Pebble Beach. 3rd in the first round with a card of 65 (-7), the Bordeaux player plays 70 (-2) thanks to a solid return at -4. He remains in the top 5 and will be in the last groups of the moving day. Matthieu Pavon will be associated with Beau Hossler and Keegan Bradley in the antepenultimate group.

Rory McIlroy takes to the water at Pebble Beach. Leader during the first round with six birdies on his first fourteen holes, the Northern Irishman finally finished his game in -1, the fault of two bogeys and a triple bogey caused by a poor drop procedure. Nothing worked out in the second round for McIlroy who played over par. He is 66th at +2.
