Biography
Early career
On January 29, 2012, by winning the Bing Lee Samsung Women's NSW Open, at the age of 14, she became the youngest golfer to win a professional tournament.
The same year, she became the youngest player to win an LPGA Tour tournament, the most important women's golf circuit. She won the Canadian Open.
In 2013, she then won the ISPS Handa New Zealand Women's Open, a tournament on the European circuit. For the second consecutive year, it won the Canada Open. Shortly thereafter, she finished second in The Evian Championship, the 2013 edition of which was the first to be considered a major tournament on the LPGA circuit. She is beaten by two shots by the Norwegian Suzann Pettersen.
