The story between the Evian Resort and David Leadbetter is long-lasting. Since the launch of the first academies more than 30 years ago, David has coached the best female players in the world with great success and victories in tournaments, notably the very prestigious Evian Championship with Suzann Pettersen and Lydia Ko.

Hosting the most famous teaching academy in the world on its exceptional site seemed obvious, and the logical consequence of a lasting relationship. From now on, training spaces and boxes will be specially reserved for teaching

Leadbetter. The “Dryrainge” system will also be offered: the latter offers players a mobile protection that allows them to train in the grass sheltered from the rain or the sun. Finally, many exercises and educational tools using the latest technologies will be set up in order to provide very high quality learning: Trackman, Boditrak, SAM PuttLab, MySwing, a WellPutt indoor putting green ... All under the supervision of Headpro, Jean -Philippe Serres, trained for 12 years in teaching David Leadbetter.

In addition, on the occasion of the next edition of the Evian Championship in September 2018, David Leadbetter will be present at the Evian Resort to inaugurate a luxury Suite in his name at the Hôtel Royal. The latter was personalized by David Leadbetter himself. Customers will be able to find some of his personal items as well as personalized advice and services, including lessons given directly in the hotel.
