Because Lacoste values creation and excellence in all its forms, the new collaboration of the season gives voice to five emblematic labels of outerwear. Chosen for their values combining excellence, history and modernity, today they deliver their interpretation of the Lacoste wardrobe by revisiting one of their iconic pieces, each crossed by a co-branded ribbon mixing the Lacoste logo with theirs.

World tour of know-how

From the hexagonal Pyrenex manufacture to the great English classics of Gloverall, via the legendary French brand K-Way, the Mid-South military influences of Alpha Industries or the Japanese refinement of Tailor Toyo, these five brands reinvent one of their bestsellers alongside the Lacoste creation studio. True to their heritage and imagined at the heart of their respective workshops, the label of each label infuses these unisex pieces with authentic expertise when Lacoste DNA colors them with a retro-classic and sporty aura.

At PYRENEx, the French star puffer is short and swollen to the extreme with an exclusive blend of feathers and duck down. The family business, established since 1859 in the South West of France, twists its great classic in sportswear version. Available in midnight blue or bismarck red, a series of contrasting logo stripes proudly display the union of the two brands. Voluntarily oversize, its proportions play the card of excess to envelop the silhouette of comfortable luxury.

For GLOVERALL, it is the essential coat “peacoat”, inspired by the uniform of the officers of the British navy, which is revealed in mid-length version. With its monumental collar and ultra British quickdraw, its thick Melton wool sheaths the looks of a confident balance oscillating between tailoring and relaxation. Proudly designed in the UK since 1951, the alliance of the two labels can be guessed at the hollow of the sleeve, where a woven crocodile takes up residence.

With K-WAY®, the rainwear developed in 1965 by LéonClaude Duhamel sails to the limits of sportswear with a model inspired by oversized hoodies from the 90s. Zipped on the chest, its vibrant colors applied in color block have the effect of '' a stylish Proust madeleine with several generations of French esthetes. More technical than ever, its waterproof and breathable canvas adapts to all genres and all ages with a "kids" version cut out for adventure.

ALPHA INDUSTRIES does honor to its military heritage while skating in couture details with a new kind of “flighjacket”. Offset on the chest, its button placket recalls that of sailors' coats and replaces the traditional slide for this collaboration. On a deep blue-black background, an XL zipper unveils a ribbon with the names of the two fashion houses. Warm, the inside of its turned-down collar is adorned with cocoon faux fur, halfway between the technical prowess of the US Air Force and the effortless refinement of Lacoste.

Finally, TAILOR TOYO demonstrate his mastery of embroidery with a luxurious and poetic “souvenir jacket”. Inspired since the 40s by the meeting of Japanese culture and the baseball style imported by the Americans, its blue and cream tones show at the front a crocodile reworked in the style of traditional Japanese patterns. On the back, it's a whole scene of life that we discover, with a vibrant tribute to René Lacoste. Graphic allusion and second degree to his mythical nickname of "crocodile", these prints mix with floral motifs and a dragon, emblematic of the manufactured style of Tailor Toyo.

The pieces from the collaboration between Lacoste and Pyrenex, Gloverall, K-Way®, Alpha Industries and Tailor Toyo are available since October 2, 2019 on the Lacoste e-shop and in Lacoste stores.
