For its 34th edition, the Lacoste Ladies Open de France will take place from September 26 to 28, 2024 at the Golf Barrière Deauville. The Crocodile brand is once again combining sport and contemporary art with the participation of three new artists: Alexandra De Assunçao, Olivier Binamé and Grems who will present their works along the fairways and greens of the Diane Barrière course. A great initiative by Lacoste in collaboration with Trajectoire Studio which promotes the work of emerging artists.

For over ten years, Lacoste has contributed, as title partner, to the success and international influence of the Lacoste Ladies Open de France. This year, the brand is continuing its collaboration with Trajectoire Studio to go even further into the artistic territory.

Curator and producer of artistic exhibitions, the Parisian creative studio collaborates with numerous artists to create unique experiences around sport, offering a new perspective on contemporary creation.

"For this third edition of the LLODF, I wanted to keep the two emblematic elements of the event: the raised tee of hole 1 and the pyramid, which is the signature of this year's poster. By integrating three new collaborations with three new talents in the artistic direction, I want to highlight artists from varied worlds, ranging from abstract to illustrative. My wish is to diversify the perspectives and offer several visions of golf, by highlighting the players with the painting of Alexandra de Assunçao, the game through the trajectory of Oli B's work, and the sports equipment with the golf cart of Grems. This edition aims to enrich the experience of the participants, to offer a new perspective on the world of golf." Jérémie Nassir – Founder Trajectoire Studio

The Golf Barrière Deauville course will be punctuated by five works of art created by three renowned artists, to offer an unprecedented spectacle to spectators and the 96 international athletes of the tournament:

Alexandra de Assunção's work is a colorful and vibrant ode to all women, carried by a plural and universal sisterhood. Through her art, she aspires to celebrate feminine diversity and inspire a recognition of the collective strength of women around the world. Alexandra will create a captivating painting representing several silhouettes of female golfers, symbolizing diversity and inclusion.

Oli-B presents at the Golf Barrière Deauville a striking installation, where vertical lines with colorful and graphic shapes intertwine to form a dynamic and original visual composition. The work offers an ingenious reading that takes on its full meaning when observed in profile, subtly evoking the trajectory of a golf ball.

For the event, the artist creates a unique and singular work by working on a golf cart. Through his unique artistic approach, he transforms this reused object into a mobile work of art. This creation symbolizes not only artistic creativity, but also the ability of art to give new life and meaning to used objects.
