Kelsey Bennett great leader in Montauban
After the first round of the Montauban Ladies Open, Kelsey Bennett is the big leader of the tournament counting for LET Access thanks to a perfect card of 63 (-9). With seven birdies and an eagle, the Australian has a lead of four shots over her first pursuer Amy Taylor. Two French women place themselves in the top 10: Lucie Andre and Marine Griffaut, winner in 2021.
Kelsey Bennett is the big leader of the Montauban Ladies Open, a LET Access tournament, with an opening card of 63 (-9). Well launched thanks to an eagle and three birdies on his way, Bennett followed up with four consecutive birdies from 12 to 15 to point at -9 at the clubhouse. Thanks to this great performance, she is four strokes ahead of the Englishwoman Amy Taylor.

Karoline Lund (NOR) and Katharina Muehlbauer (AUT) take third place in the ranking with scores of 68 (-4).
Marine Griffaut, winner three years ago and recently turned pro, is the best Frenchwoman after the first round thanks to a score of 70 (-2). She occupies 12th place alongside another tricolor: Lucie Andre. Griffaut delivered a nice series of four consecutive birdies to place himself in ambush two rounds from the end.
In a very tight ranking, three other French women placed themselves in the top 20 with cards in par: Vanessa Bouvet, Emie Peronnin, Ariane Klotz and Emma Leroy-Fabry. Seventeen players are in par.
Tough day for Ladies European Tour resident Charlotte Liautier who scored above par in this first round with a card of 74 (+2).
