Karrie Anne Webb, born December 21, 1974 in Ayr, is an Australian golfer.
An Australian player who grew up in Queensland, she went professional in 1994 and joined the LPGA circuit in 1996.
Her track record, consisting of 7 Major titles with her victories at the British Open 2002, the Kraft Nabisco Championship 2000 and 2006, the Maurier Classic 1999, LPGA Championship 2001 and US Open 2000 and 2001, make her one of the best players of the circuit. It won each of the 5 Major tournaments (the du Maurier Classic was replaced by the British Open in 2000).
In 2006, after her victory in Kraft Nabisco Championship, she won a second major victory at the Evian Masters, tournament not considered major but being the second world tournament in terms of endowment.
She was also named to the "Hall of Fame" in 2000, an entry which was not effective until 2005 after ten years of practicing the LPGA circuit. She was the youngest player to have entered it until the entry of the Korean Se Ri Pak in 2007.
