You stopped your professional career a year and a half ago now. What is your new life?

Gwladys Nocera: I take care of the Girls' Pole at the national golf course and coach the French under-18 team in pairs with Mickaël Mahéo.

Are you still typing in the little white girl for fun?

I played again last week at the Pro-Am des Nougats d'Or, in Montélimar. This is the first time I have done 18 holes in a year! But I will get back to it, I feel that I am starting to miss golf.

You are also an ambassador for Lacoste…

Yes, I have been representing the brand for eighteen years and it is a real pride for me. The image that Lacoste conveys suits me well. These are elegant clothes in which I feel super comfortable.

Since the end of your career, we sometimes see you in certain Club Med golf villages, such as Opio, Marrakech or even Da Balaia. What does your partnership with the Club consist of?

A few weeks in the year, I attend the courses offered by the GOs of Club Med, I discuss with the GMs, give them some advice, answer their questions. These are very nice moments of exchange and sharing. During your professional career, you live a little apart and miss certain things. It's a real pleasure to meet people who sometimes followed me on the European circuit and even encouraged me on the courses.

You must make some happy among GM golfers…

(Laughs) It happens! Here, I am this week at Club Med in Vittel and the other day I sat down at a table for lunch. A lady in front of me recognized me and told me that she had followed my entire career. She was so surprised and moved to see me that she had tears in her eyes. His reaction touched me a lot.
