Green Contour makes it possible to obtain the right information before making a shot towards the green and this is what Garmin offers to its users with this innovation now available on the brand's compatible watches, rangefinders and GPS app.

Using slope information, you can determine how far the ball will veer and which side of the flagstick it is best to putt knowing the best possible scenarios for hitting your shot.

The data on the screen can be configured to show high and low sections of the green or slope percentages along with arrows indicating direction.

An active premium subscription through the Garmin Golf app ($9,99 per month or $99,99 per year), will give you access to the full Green Contour data set.

Services and routes are available on all of the brand's compatible devices, which can be viewed directly from your smartphone. Green Contour can also be downloaded to one of the following Garmin devices: Approach G80 GPS, Approach S60, S62 Watches or the Rangefinder Approach Z82 laser and Approach R10 Radar.

More than 8900 courses available today offer Green Contour data, mainly in North America. This new service should soon arrive in Europe. Use the golf course locator on the Garmin site to make sure it offers the service.
