About the European Ladies Open

The European Ladies Open was born from the collaboration between the Golf du Kempferhof and Eventeam. Its ambition is to become an essential European women's tournament, to support the development of women's golf and to develop the reputation of the Kempferhof.

“When we took over the Kempferhof golf course two years ago, we were convinced of the great potential of the place. We have been reinforced in this by numerous rankings placing it among the most beautiful golf courses in Europe. Our ambitions: to highlight our club, our region, the passion for sport and to make Alsace a land of golf both nationally and internationally. It is therefore quite natural that we took the initiative to host a Ladies European Tour competition, ”explains Pierre-Etienne Bindschedler, owner of the Kempferhof Golf Course.

The promotion of sport and women's golf at the heart of the project

Alsace is proud to claim one of the highest rates of female golfers with 32% (compared to 27% in France) and the Golf du Kempferhof has decided to focus its efforts on this point by recruiting primarily young players within of his Academy.
By choosing to center its development project around women's sport and well-being with the culmination of the creation of a European women's golf tournament, the Golf de Kempferhof reaffirms its identity: elegance, tenacity , friendliness.
