A year ago now, during the first containment, we tested the ES14 radar. Sylosports (distributor company) offered to try its evolved version. We therefore had in our hands the brand new product from Ernest Sports: the ESB1.

What improvements made:

The designers took all the advantages of the ES14 model and further optimized the precision of the radars in the capture: ball and clubhead speed, distance, smash factor, spin, and angle. take-off.

On its parameters, the product was already very good, it is becoming excellent.

But the number 1 asset of Ernest Sports ESB1 is to be able to now stand behind the player as for a Trackmam. No need to use the slider anymore to place the radar in the right place.
What a relief not to risk damaging the product with a sneaky and shameful socket. Posed thus, it is also protected from projections of grass, or earth.

Another advantage of the Ernest Sports ESB1: it is now equipped with a lithium battery to do away with batteries and it is very practical.

If we want to find a fault, it will certainly not be on the radar part (hardware) but rather once again on the phone app which remains largely perfectible.

For example, the mobile version continues to offer direction while this information is not analyzed by Ernest Sports ESB1 (it is in fact you who must, by tapping the icon, indicate whether the ball has gone online , To the right or to the left). Another pitfall, it is impossible to have your swing speed in miles and distance in meters. It is miles-yard or km / h-meter.

Ernest sports should also very soon merge all of its mobile apps into a brand new one called ES Range. Hopefully this will finally make the tool fun and ergonomic ...

For the price you will have to pay 585 € TTC. Or 90 € more than for SS14. But if you can make that effort the ESB1 will be much more convenient to use ...
