Located in the countryside, Le Golf de La Commanderie is no less quickly accessible. Located just 15 minutes from the heart of Mâcon, 20 minutes from Bourg-en-Bresse and barely an hour from Lyon.

After a fantastic game in the morning at the Gouverneur golf course, our getaway takes us, in the afternoon, in Macônais. At first glance, maintaining the great experience lived a little earlier, seems like an arduous task.

We meet Olivier Ballufin, the director of golf, he tells us very quickly that "here, it's a small golf course" and that he does not have the same resources as at the Gouverneur or at Divonne. But let him be fearless, he can be proud of his golf.

In this region, it is not always easy to practice golf all year round with your feet dry. Here it is possible. If the buildings flourish in the 70s, the accent and the means have been put on the ground.

The domain is spread over 45ha of slightly undulating meadows and dotted with trees that are sometimes hundred years old.

La Commanderie is a pleasant golf course, accessible to players of all levels. Here, no need to go long drive to hit the greens in regulation. Helped, moreover, by perfectly drained, wide and welcoming fairways leading to clean, rolling greens.

The alternation of straight holes and doglegs leaves little room for monotony. A golfer who respects the drawing will easily play his index finger. The more daring, by cutting a few doglegs, will more easily get into a birdie position ...

The Commandery golf course also has its Amen Corner with the chain from 13-14-15. Mandatory sustained vigilance: narrower fairways, out of bounds, water to fly over, finally the whole panoply to spoil the map.

After the 18th, the feeling of having hit a pleasant golf dominates. The frankness of the route and its quality of maintenance allow you to have fun from the first visit. It is not a great golf course but a good golf course and that is more than enough…

The advantages of Golf de la Commanderie:
