This 2021 edition of the Lacoste Ladies Open de France has kept all its promises. After two cards of 68 and 66 and a total score of -8, Céline Boutier set off for the last round with a lead over her two closest pursuers: Kylie Henry (Scotland) and Magdalena Simmermacher (Argentina).

This last round very quickly became a duel between the French and the Scottish.

After a close go for the two players in -3 and therefore an unchanged gap, Céline Boutier started her last 9 holes with bogeys on holes 11 and 12.

Kylie Henry was therefore the only leader at the start of hole number 13.

On the par 5 of hole 14, Céline Boutier landed her third shot near the flagstick, and returned her putt to convert her birdie opportunity.

The two women therefore ended up with the same score at the start of the 15th.

With three pars each on holes 15,16, 17 and 18, both players tied for tee XNUMX.

After a drive in the bunker, Céline Boutier put her ball on the green with a birdie putt of ten meters.

Meanwhile the Scottish, after a misguided face-off, leaves a 1,5 meter putt for the par and for a potential play-off.

It was without counting on a perfect putt from the Frenchwoman, a final successful putt for birdie and to win the tournament. Kylie Henry finished second at -10. Magdalena Simmermacher, also in the last part, finished on the podium, in third place in -8.

The two-time Solheim Cup winner succeeds Céline Herbin who won the French Open in 2015.

This Sunday definitely smiled on French women. Anais Meyssonnier and Pauline Roussin Bouchard joined in the victory on this last lap and both finished in third place at -8.

Starting in 11th position, Pauline Roussin Bouchard made the best card of the day with a 66 (-5): a single bogey for four birdies and an eagle on hole 14.

Anais Meyssonnier returns a card of 69 (-2) with four birdies for two bogeys.

Emma Grechi and Céline Herbin both entered the top 20 with a card of 69 (-2).

Emma Grechi finished 16th at -3 and Céline Herbin finished 20th at -1.

Manon Gidali plays 72 (+1) and finishes 27th in the total PAR.

Agathe Laisné plays 73 (+2) and ends her tournament in 38th place at +1.

Maylis Lamoure plays 72 (+1) and finishes at +3 for the tournament in 51st place.

Inès Archer plays 73 (+2) and finishes 54th at +4.

Anne-Lise Caudal plays 74 (+3), she finished 62nd at +6.
