After two rounds of the Andalucia Costa Del Sol Open de Espana, the Spaniard Cayetana Fernandez is at the top of the leaderboard with a total score of -11. She returned a first card of 70 (-3) on Thursday before posting a superb 65 (-8) on the par 73 of the Alferini golf course. This young player, still an amateur, simply signed eight birdies for no bogey, during this almost perfect day. Thanks to this fine performance, Fernandez is one step ahead of her first pursuer at the start of the weekend.

Linn Grant, the Swedish player, takes the provisional second place in the Andalucia Costa Del Sol Open de Espana standings with a total of -10. Leona MAguire (IRL) completes the podium of the event.

Anais Meyssonnier, third after the first round, started his day badly before signing a solid comeback.
