The three leading brands in the world of golf shoes (Footjoy, Ecco and Adidas) have adopted the Boa system. Perfectly integrated with golf shoes, the Boa® System provides uniform lacing for a comfortable and reliable support, ensuring a balanced posture and effective traction.

In 2006, Boa teamed up with FootJoy to launch the first golf shoe equipped with Boa lacing. Five years later, adidas Golf and Boa have joined forces to launch select products in selected markets. Meanwhile, the Boa System has been rapidly adopted by golfers in the Asian market, particularly in Japan and Korea, and today more than half of the models sold in this region are equipped with Boa technology.

Since then, other major brands have also adopted Boa, the latest being ECCO Golf in spring 2017. From the start, FootJoy integrated the Boa System into an avant-garde design exclusive to the brand. Designed to lock the foot at the heel, while ensuring uniform support, as well as increased reliability and comfort, the clamping discs are always placed in the same place. In 2017, FootJoy launched the new Contour Fit and Pro SL models, both equipped with the L6 disc, which is extremely resistant for absolute reliability.

The partnership with adidas Golf started with a focus on the Japanese market, followed by the global launch of the Tour 360X Boa shoe in 2014. The adipower model Boa Boost was released shortly after: it was the first shoe worn on the PGA Tower. In 2017, we find Boa on 16 models for men, women and juniors, including the all-new adidas Powerband Boa Boost which is already very successful on the first stages of the PGA Tour.

The adidas Golf / Boa collaboration offers a unique system that optimizes traction efficiency, provides tailored support and better stability.

2017 marks the arrival of another major European brand that launches its first shoes equipped with the Boa System: ECCO Golf. ECCO is renowned for being a leading brand of versatile shoes which has built its success on careful design, quality leathers and technological innovation. Boa is very excited to partner with ECCO to improve the comfort and stability of its golf shoes. The brand has integrated the Boa System into the two models of the ECCO CAGE range: ECCO Cage Boa and ECCO Cage Pro Boa.

Each week, in competition as in training, you will see PGA Tour players who trust Boa on the courses. Just turn the clamping disc to get the perfect hold. You can trust the Boa System from practice to 18th hole, and focus on the essentials.

The Boa System is tested to support more than 800 rounds of golf. Each system is extremely resistant, to the point of having a longer lifespan than that of the shoe, and is covered by the Boa Guarantee.
