Barrière continued its adventure in Abu Dhabi and launched Paradiso Nicole and Pierre at the end of November on the shores of Yas Bay. The Paradiso Nicole et Pierre is more than a restaurant: a real invitation to travel, especially in the flavors of the Mediterranean. A concept imagined by a star of gastronomy, Nicole Rubi, founder of La Petite Maison (de Nicole) and by the three-star Chef Pierre Gagnaire.

A tribute to the Mediterranean, to Italy and to the cinema, “Paradiso Nicole et Pierre” brings the gourmet and warm universe of the Croisette to the shores of Abu Dhabi. Adorned with a large terrace and a sun-drenched decor, designed by Italian architects Vudafieri-Saverino Partners, the restaurant has everything to become a staple of the Abu Dhabi dining scene.

Imagined by Nicole Rubi and Pierre Gagnaire, the menu consists of dishes inspired by Mediterranean specialties, especially from Nice and Italy. The two Chefs, who struck up a friendship on the occasion of the opening of the first Paradiso at the Hôtel Barrière Le Majestic Cannes in June 2020, are happy to use and reinvent local flavors, integrated into fresh and light dishes, entirely respectful of seasonal products. The duo of Chefs notably offers some of the most legendary specialties of the Mediterranean, such as Nicole's small stuffed dishes or her famous snail recipe, cauliflower bavarois from a selection of antipasti, or even pizzas and cheese. shoulder of lamb with spices, true signatures of Paradiso, to share with love. For those who don't feel like sharing, the menu also offers a wide choice of pasta and dishes, such as Nicole's roasted young cockerel or grilled prime rib, which are sure to delight all palates. . The wine list that accompanies the menu offers a wide choice of regional French treasures or Italian gems, from small producers and prestigious estates.

Emanuele Balestra, the alchemist

Emanuele Balestra, Head Barman of the Majestic in Cannes, has something of the chemist or the botanist, but also of the beekeeper. Passionate about nature, like an alchemist, he draws on his impressive know-how to compose the emblematic cocktails of the Paradiso.

After completing his training in prestigious establishments around the world, this friendly Italian put his spoons and shakers at Paradiso Abu Dhabi, to create cocktails and mocktails. Associating a confectioner's spirit with a great respect for nature, he constantly seeks to extract the essence of flavors in order to create subtle blends.

A celebration of life

To accompany your meals, musicians play live every Thursday and Friday evening and a resident DJ performs every evening. With its welcoming and pleasant lighting, its vegetated terrace and its relaxing musical atmosphere, the Paradiso Nicole et Pierre is your next destination of choice for a unique tasting moment, in a relaxing environment.

When luxury meets sustainable design

Milanese architects and interior designers Tiziano Vudafieri and Claudio Saverino mainly worked for luxury boutiques (Emilio Pucci, Tod's, Roger Vivier, Buccellati). Passionate about gastronomy, they are also at the origin of several restaurant concepts and have themselves opened, with friends, renowned establishments such as Dry Milano, which stands out for its chic and refined design. For the Paradiso Nicole et Pierre, they imagined an elegant but relaxed room, inspired by the Mediterranean. On the terrace, the green of olives, capers and sage leaves, the yellow and orange of citrus fruits, and the beige of the stone blend with ceramic tiles, rattan, Sicilian stones, brass, velvet and silk. The orange chandeliers, made of recycled plastic, were designed exclusively for the restaurant. A wall covering representing a map of the Mediterranean and films that have been shot in the region brings, as a final touch, a superb illustration of the deep links between Le Majestic and the world of cinema.
