Participants in the Augusta National Women's Amateur will compete over 54 holes in stroke play. The first two rounds will be played at the Champions Retreat Golf Club on Wednesday and Thursday. The final round will be at the Augusta National Golf Club on Saturday.

The top 30 players after 36 holes will qualify for the last 18 holes. Ties will be determined by a sudden death playoff.

Golf Channel will feature playoff coverage, if required. After a day of training at Augusta National on Friday, open to all ANWA participants, the final will take place on Saturday. Golf Channel will broadcast the action live, starting at noon ET (local time).

Jennifer Kupcho, of Wake Forest, won the inaugural edition in 2019. The event was canceled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

« The tournament itself is just huge. Access to this unique place is a real chance and then it highlights the image of women in golf. Now on the sporting aspect it's still a competition like any other with a winner and losers. And as much to say that I do not go there to make the figuration. »

“I want to“ enjoy ”the moment, to take as much pleasure as possible while keeping in mind that I am here to be competitive. We will have to find the right balance between contemplation and concentration. "

Lucie Malchirand
