The Ladies European Tour is being played this week in Morocco for the Lalla Meryem Cup. After two rounds, it is Maria Fassi, the Mexican who is in the lead with a total of -12. From the first round, Fassi took control thanks to a card of 65 (-8), without any bogey and with a very solid game: 17 greens hit in regulation. Despite a few errors, the Mexican played 69 (-4) in her second round to maintain a four-shot lead over her runner-up.

Pauline Roussin-Bouchard therefore ranks second in this event in Morocco and will play for victory in the last part alongside the Mexican. Having opened her tournament with a card of 71 (-2), the young French player scored 67 (-6) in her second round thanks to eight birdies for a double bogey. Already a double winner on the Ladies European Tour, Pauline Roussin-Bouchard will try to add a third line to her young record. It's now been a year since she last won on the tour.

The rest of the players are left behind by the leading duo, Ines Laklalech 3rd, being relegated three shots behind the tricolor.

Another Frenchwoman places herself in the top 15 after two tours in Morocco. Emma Grechi is 13th thanks to two cards of 72 (-1), rather reasonable scores with only one bogey in two rounds.
