Haeran Ryu confirmed her excellent form at the Chevron Championship by finishing her third day with a -9 total, a performance that puts her atop the leaderboard alongside Mao Saigo. Co-leader of the first round, Haeran Ryu had slowed down on Friday with a score of 74 (+2). Her 68 (-4), including a series of four birdies from the 5th to the 9th, puts her back in the race for the title.

Behind them, Lindy Duncan posted a solid 70 (-2), keeping her at -8, just one shot behind the leading duo. Meanwhile, Sarah Schmelzel and Yan Liu posted a score of -7, lurking behind the leaders.

Lexi Thompson, recently retired and former winner of the event in 2014, remains in the running at -6. Can she win, more than ten years after her last and only major victory?

World number 1 Nelly Korda shot a 71 (-1) on this moving day. Having fallen behind with a poor first round, the American's chances of victory are diminishing, as she is nine shots behind.

Pauline Roussin-Bouchard scored a second consecutive day above par. The young Frenchwoman returned a new card of 74 (+2) to occupy 58th place on the leaderboard.
