Cobra Golf today unveiled its KING F7 and KING F7 + drivers, the longest and most technological, which enrich the collection of clubs emblematic of the emblematic brand KING. The F7 and F7 + allow golfers to choose between an oversized or classic club, to gain distance, with unrivaled feeling and extreme tolerance.

These models are fitted with the COBRA CONNECT system developed by Arccos. It is an ultralight sensor integrated in the grip that allows players to automatically track the distance and accuracy of each drive. COBRA CONNECT users only have to synchronize their club with the free Arccos Driver smartphone app to receive their game results, access GPS telemetry distances of 40 routes and take part in the longest drive virtual competition, "King of the Hole". Players also have access to exclusive COBRA content through the Arccos Driver app, which includes technical product videos and tips from COBRA coaches and PGA TOUR professionals.

“We are delighted to present our longest and most technological drivers, the new F7 and F7 +,” said Tom Olsavsky, VP Research & Development, COBRA Golf. “By incorporating the best zonal weight distribution technologies, we've created the perfect combination of low center of gravity and high MOI to give golfers the best in distance, forgiveness and accuracy. All this combined with the COBRA CONNECT device developed by Arccos, make these clubs among the most exciting that we have ever produced. "

On the course, the COBRA CONNECT system developed by Arccos communicates on impact, with the player's smartphone, which he must have in his pocket. He then uses a sensor detection algorithm to locate the location of his second shot, which allows the distance and accuracy of the drive to be recorded in real time. At the end of the game, golfers can review the quality of each of their drives, see their progress and share their photos, their longest drives or their statistics with their friends and other COBRA CONNECT users.

The KING F7 driver (recommended retail price 379 €) is distinguished by a larger face and an address shape which increases the MOI for more distance, tolerance and speed on the whole face. A weight adjustment system with three positions of center of gravity - front, back and on the heel, determines three different trajectories of the ball - low, high and in draw, allowing players to reach the optimal distance and trajectory in all playing situations. The heaviest weight of 12 g in the forward position ensures penetrating and low ball flight with less spin and more rotation to reach the maximum distance. When the heaviest weight is positioned in the rear position, the trajectory is high with more spin, hence more distance and tolerance. When placed at heel height, the spin is reduced, resulting in straighter drives that correct the slice.

"Golfers' growing interest in information related to their game goes hand in hand with the success of Tour player statistics disseminated by Shotlink®" explains Olsavsky. “By creating technological clubs equipped with the COBRA CONNECT system incorporating Arccos technology, we are responding to this desire and we are offering our customers direct access to this type of data used by all Tour players. We are confident that this information will help golfers of all skill levels to improve their results and have even more fun playing. "

The KING F7 driver also has an E9 forged face redesigned in Ti-811 titanium, lighter, thinner and more dynamic, giving more speed to the ball, and a large Sweet ZoneTM encompassing the entire face. The TeXtreme carbon fiber crown frees up weight, allowing COBRA engineers to define three distinct center of gravity positions and three optimal distances. The MyFly8 system with SmartPad technology allows players to choose eight loft settings (9,0o, 9,5o, 9,5o, 10,5o, 10,5o, 11,5o, 11,5o and 12 o) to finely adjust the possibilities of throwing and maximize the distance while keeping the head of the club square at the address.

The KING F7 driver is supplied with Lamkin REL grip (CONNECT Black), and graphite shaft, Fujikura Pro 60 with Stiff, Regular and Lite flex for right and left handed. Marketed from February 06, 2017, the driver will be available in three colors: black with orange highlights; blue with red highlights & sustained silver with yellow highlights.

With its classic size head and its lower lofts (8,0o, 8,5o, 8,5Do, 9,0o, 9,5Do, 10,0o, 10,5Do and 11o), the driver F7 + (recommended retail price 399 €) uses the same key technologies as the F7 driver: adjustments of the center of gravity according to three positions, forged face in Ti-811 titanium, TeXtreme carbon fiber crown and MyFly8 technology. COBRA CONNECT is integrated in a Lamkin REL grip (CONNECT Black) with graphite shaft, Fujikura Pro XLR8 61. The F7 + driver, also available from February 06, 2017, will be available in black / orange and blue / red / white, but with premium matte finish of the crown. The driver will be marketed with flex for right-handed Stiff and Regular.

The F7 Female driver (recommended retail price: € 379) incorporates all the technological innovations of male F7 drivers including the COBRA CONNECT system, the three positions of the center of gravity forward, back and on the heel, the face forged E9 in titanium Ti-811, the TeXtreme crown and MyFly8 with Smartpad (Lofts: 11 °, 11,5 °, 11,5 ° D, 12,5 °, 12,5 ° D, 13,5 °, 13,5, 14 ° D and 55 °). An oversized form to address will increase the MOI, allowing players to gain distance, tolerance and speed on off-center hits. The driver is fitted with Fujikura Pro XNUMX graphite grips (L / R) and COBRA Lamkin REL, in a silver / raspberry color.
