(OFF) ICIELLE will explore new territories with an emphasis on discovering galleries and young artists. , but also the rediscovery of artists little or not put forward on the international artistic scene.

The event will offer galleries whose programming demonstrates a particular ability to decipher contemporary creation, to discover talents, whether emerging or not.

For its first edition, the selection committee was made up of the curators, Hou Hanru (Curator / Artistic Director of MAXXI - Rome), Anne Dressen (Curator of ARC / Museum of Modern Art of the City de Paris, Paris), Florence Ostende (Exhibition curator and art historian - Paris), as well as Olivier Antoine (Founder / Director of the Art: Concept gallery - Paris) and Josée Gensollen, collector and patron resident in Marseille .

The artists' film programs at the Cinéphémère (presented in collaboration with the Fondation d'Entreprise Ricard) and at the Auditorium of the Grand Palais are continuing and expanding thanks to the collaboration with MK2. Two conference and conversation programs are taking place this year: one at the National Museum of Natural History; the other at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in Paris for the first time. The Cartes Blanches evenings dedicated to artists continue at Silencio.

The 41st edition of FIAC will also be an opportunity to discover an exceptional artistic program in Paris and in the regions.

The synergies that the FIAC develops with those involved in cultural life through initiatives such as the Private Tour and the Night of Parisian galleries, Thursday October 23, contribute to the international development of the French artistic scene.

This year, the inaugurations of major institutions punctuate in an exceptional way the week of FIAC and (OFF) ICIELLE. Housed in the impressive glass building of Frank Gehry, the Louis Vuitton Foundation will be inaugurated on Monday October 20. In transformation since 2011, the reopening of the Monnaie de Paris will be celebrated on Thursday October 23, with the inauguration of a major exhibition by Paul McCarthy. After 5 years of renovation of the superb spaces of the Hôtel Salé, the Picasso Museum will once again be open to the public from Saturday 25 October. Festivities linked to the Cartier Foundation's 30th anniversary are also planned.

In short, a great program to discover along the few days of FIAC 2014.
